Use the calculator above to carry your hip-fire mouse sensitivity into VALORANT or out to another game. Pick the game you are coming from, choose the game you are moving to, then enter your current sensitivity and DPI. The result also shows inches and centimeters per 360-degree turn.
How to use the VALORANT sensitivity converter
- Choose your current game in the From box and the new game in the To box.
- Enter your current in-game sensitivity.
- Enter your current mouse DPI and the DPI you plan to use in the other game. If your DPI is staying the same, leave both boxes at the same value.
- Copy the calculated sensitivity into the target game, then test it in the practice range.
If you only need to compare DPI and VALORANT sensitivity, use the VALORANT eDPI calculator.
VALORANT sensitivity conversion formulas
| Conversion | Same-DPI formula | Example |
|---|---|---|
| VALORANT to CS2 or Apex Legends | VALORANT sens × 3.1818 | 0.25 becomes 0.7955 |
| CS2 or Apex Legends to VALORANT | Source sens ÷ 3.1818 | 1.0 becomes 0.3143 |
| VALORANT to Overwatch 2 or Call of Duty | VALORANT sens × 10.606 | 0.25 becomes 2.6515 |
| Overwatch 2 or Call of Duty to VALORANT | Source sens ÷ 10.606 | 3.0 becomes 0.2829 |
| VALORANT to Fortnite | VALORANT sens × 12.601 | 0.25 becomes 3.1503% |
| Fortnite to VALORANT | Fortnite sens ÷ 12.601 | 4.0% becomes 0.3174 |
The calculator also adjusts for a DPI change. For example, 0.25 VALORANT sensitivity at 1600 DPI converts to 1.591 CS2 sensitivity at 800 DPI.
Why the converted sensitivity can still feel different
A conversion matches the mouse distance needed for a full turn. It cannot make two games handle aim exactly the same. Field of view, weapon zoom, scoped multipliers, mouse acceleration and each game’s camera behavior can change how the result feels.
Start with the converted number, then make a small adjustment in the practice range if needed. Keep ADS and scoped settings separate unless both games use the same multiplier behavior. Our VALORANT sensitivity guide has a practical range and current pro examples.
Quick CS2 to VALORANT conversion
Divide your CS2 sensitivity by 3.182 when your DPI stays the same. A CS2 sensitivity of 1.0 converts to 0.3143 in VALORANT. If you are changing DPI too, use the calculator instead of the shortcut.
You can also open the dedicated CS2 sensitivity converter when CS2 is your main starting point.
