Checked September 22, 2026: The NIMO 17.3-inch N177 is a roomy, inexpensive laptop with a capable AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS processor. It is not a safe laptop to buy for Battlefield 6. Its Radeon 780M is integrated graphics, while EA lists dedicated GPUs with at least 6GB of VRAM as the game’s minimum.
If Battlefield 6 is the reason you are shopping, skip this model and look for a laptop with a dedicated Nvidia, AMD or Intel GPU that meets EA’s list below. The NIMO still makes sense for school, work and lighter games. It just should not be sold as a Battlefield 6 gaming laptop.
Quick verdict
| Good for | Not a good fit for |
|---|---|
| School, office work, web use, media and lighter esports games | Buying specifically for Battlefield 6 or other demanding games that require a dedicated GPU |
Bottom line: the Ryzen 7 name looks promising, but the GPU decides whether this laptop clears Battlefield 6’s requirements. The Radeon 780M does not match EA’s minimum RTX 2060, RX 5600 XT 6GB or Arc A380.
NIMO 17.3 N177 specs
NIMO’s current product page lists the N177 with a 17.3-inch Full HD display, Ryzen 7 8745HS and Radeon 780M graphics. Memory and storage vary by configuration, so check the exact selection rather than assuming every N177 has the same RAM and SSD.

The exact Amazon listing previously linked here was ASIN B0FLK613GD, a 32GB/1TB configuration. It was unavailable when this review was checked, so we removed the old fixed price and buying link instead of pointing you at a different laptop with an uncertain GPU.
Why it falls short for Battlefield 6
EA’s minimum target is the basic 1080p, 30 FPS, Low experience. Even that tier calls for a discrete RTX 2060, Radeon RX 5600 XT 6GB or Intel Arc A380, plus 16GB of system memory. The Radeon 780M built into the NIMO shares system memory and is not one of EA’s supported minimum GPUs.
| Requirement | NIMO N177 | EA minimum | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| CPU | Ryzen 7 8745HS | Ryzen 5 2600 or Core i5-8400 | CPU class is not the concern |
| GPU | Integrated Radeon 780M | RTX 2060, RX 5600 XT 6GB or Arc A380 | Does not match the listed minimum |
| Graphics memory | Shared system memory | 6GB VRAM | Does not match the listed minimum |
| System memory | Configuration dependent | 16GB | Choose at least 16GB |
| Storage | Configuration dependent SSD | 55GiB minimum; 80GiB SSD recommended | Allow extra room for updates |
Being below the official list does not prove the game will never launch. It means EA does not promise the intended minimum experience on this hardware. We have not tested Battlefield 6 on this exact NIMO configuration, so we are not going to invent an FPS number.
What to look for in a cheap Battlefield 6 laptop
- A dedicated GPU first: use EA’s minimum list as the floor. For more headroom, EA recommends an RTX 3060 Ti, RX 6700 XT or Arc B580 with 8GB VRAM.
- At least 16GB RAM: dual-channel memory is part of EA’s published minimum target. Check the sold configuration, not just the model family.
- Enough SSD space: EA lists 80GiB on an SSD for its recommended tier. Leave room for Windows and game updates.
- Secure Boot support: Battlefield 6 requires TPM 2.0 and UEFI Secure Boot, along with HVCI- and VBS-capable hardware.
- Clear GPU wattage and cooling: two laptops with a similarly named mobile GPU can perform differently. Favor reviews that test the exact configuration.
Do not buy from the processor name alone. A fast Ryzen 7 paired with integrated graphics can be a good everyday laptop, but it is a different product from a gaming laptop with a dedicated GPU.
Who should buy the NIMO N177?
The N177 is more interesting as a large-screen general-purpose laptop. The 17.3-inch display gives you room for documents and media, the Ryzen 7 8745HS is well suited to everyday multitasking, and the Radeon 780M can handle lighter games at sensible settings.
Buy it for those jobs if the exact configuration and current price make sense. Do not buy it on the promise that it is one of the best cheap gaming laptops for Battlefield 6. That was the mistake in the old version of this review, and the published requirements now give a clear answer.
