Meteor

PLAYER OVERVIEW

Kim Tae-oh's competitive setup.

Kim “Meteor” Tae-oh is a South Korean professional VALORANT player for T1. He broke into international play with NORTHEPTION in 2022, winning Japan Stage 2 Challengers and reaching Masters Copenhagen. Gen.G signed him for the first VCT Pacific season, and he became the only player retained for the organization’s rebuilt 2024 lineup. That group won Pacific Kickoff, finished second at Masters Madrid and then beat Team Heretics to win Masters Shanghai, the first international VCT title for a Pacific team.

Meteor moved to T1 in October 2024. His first season with the team produced another international trophy: T1 defeated G2 Esports 3-2 at Masters Bangkok 2025, and Meteor received the event MVP award. That made him the first Pacific player to win multiple VCT Masters events. T1 later finished second at VCT Pacific Kickoff 2026 and reached fifth-sixth at VALORANT Champions Shanghai 2026.

He has spent much of his recent match history on sentinel and flex picks, especially Chamber and Killjoy, with Yoru also appearing in 2026.
