PLAYER OVERVIEW

Hazem Khaled's competitive setup.

Hazem “Avez” Khaled is an Egyptian VALORANT in-game leader and initiator for Karmine Corp. He first built his name in the MENA scene with Anubis Gaming, winning the 2021 Strike Arabia Grand Finals and reaching the EMEA Last Chance Qualifier. Avez then moved through Team RA’AD and NASR Esports, where his agent pool widened beyond his early duelist picks to Viper, Sova and Fade. NASR won the 2023 MENA Resilience tiebreaker and Connecta The Ultimate Battle before placing third at the 2024 MENA regional playoffs.

Karmine Corp signed Avez on November 9, 2024 after two seasons with NASR. His first VCT EMEA campaign with KC did not produce an international qualification, but the organization kept him for its rebuilt 2026 roster. Liquipedia now lists him as KC’s in-game leader, while recent match records show most of his rounds on initiators Fade and Sova.

The 2026 season delivered Avez’s biggest result so far. Karmine Corp recovered from an 11th–12th finish in EMEA Stage 1 to win Stage 2 in Barcelona, beating Team Liquid 3-1 in the August 30 grand final. That title sent KC to VALORANT Champions 2026 as EMEA’s top seed, where the team finished 9th–12th. His linked settings page is a ProSettings snapshot checked October 25, 2026. It records 1600 DPI, 0.1 sensitivity, 160 eDPI and a 1280x1024 letterboxed resolution; pro settings can change between events.
