The quick answer: Patch 13.04 went live August 18. Abyss returns to Competitive and Deathmatch while Breeze rotates out. There are no weapon, economy, sensitivity, or crosshair changes.

That makes this a map-pool update more than a meta shake-up. Keep the aim settings that already feel good. Spend your warm-up time getting comfortable on Abyss again instead of rebuilding your sensitivity because a new Act started.

What changed in Patch 13.04?

  • Abyss entered the Competitive and Deathmatch map pools.
  • Breeze left both queues.
  • Riot fixed bugs affecting Cypher, Viper, Deadlock, and Clove.
  • Premier Stage V26A5 started with a shorter five-week schedule.

Abyss is in. Breeze is out.

Players who have been grinding Breeze lineups can put those on pause. Your next useful practice block is Abyss: load the map, check the angles you tend to over-swing, and get your minimap comfortable before queuing ranked.

Don't rebuild a stable sensitivity because the map pool changed. Rebuild your map familiarity.

Do you need to change your sensitivity?

No. A map entering the pool is not a reason to throw out a sensitivity you can control. Use Deathmatch to rebuild crosshair placement and leave your muscle memory alone.
