Graphics Modes
Both fellow generation consoles have similar stats across the board. Both maintain a 60 FPS Target base settings, however, the PS5 pulls ahead slightly as it offers two separate modes; Balanced (60 FPS Target) and Performance (80-90 FPS Target).
Resolution
The PS5 pulls way ahead—being capable of 4k resolution, with the Xbox Series S only being capable of 1440p.
Visual Effects
Unsurprisingly, the PS5 is capable of much more, from better shadows, environmental lighting, map terrain, and debris. The Series S lags behind all of that, on top of having no SSR and an overall shorter draw distance.
Frame Rate Stability
Aside from the stark differences in visuals, both consoles are capable of stable 60 FPS in continuous gameplay.
Verdict
When it comes to Battlefield 6 Console Graphics, the PS5 proves to be on top of the graphic game, offering flexibility from choosing your own graphics mode (Balanced or Performance) and offering much higher fidelity.

Graphics Modes
The “better” and more expensive versions of these iconic consoles prove to be much more equal, offering 60 FPS for Balanced mode, and maxing up to 120 FPS in Performance mode.
Resolution
Resolution-wise, we don’t really see much of a difference as both are capable of Dynamic 1440p to 4k with sharp details for the Balanced mode. For the Performance mode, the PS5 Pro comes on top being capable of 120 FPS 1440p, with the Series X hovering around the 90 FPS mark.
Visual Effects
Both have solid effects and a decent draw distance, but the PS5 comes on prevails with more details such as extra debris on destruction, and richer particle effects.
Frame Rate Stability
The stability of the frames, depending on what’s happening on-screen can dip—especially when on the much more demanding Performance mode, but the PS5 is slightly ahead due to the power of its built-in GPU.
Verdict
The PS5 Pro comes out on top when it comes to Battlefield 6 console graphics, beating the Xbox Series X when it comes to resolution scaling, detail in destruction, and a near-stable 120 FPS Performance mode, cementing itself as the superior console when it comes to hardware and performance.
